Document Control System




Module Overview

The Document Control System serves as a centralized repository for digital documents of any file type and facilitates the tracking of both physical and digital document distributions and transmittals.


Architecture

Master Document

The module enables the creation of a "Master Document," which serves as a reference to a source document (EASA AD 2025-0001).


Document Revision

A Master Document can encompass an unlimited number of Document Revisions. These revisions can include multiple file attachments and are available for later viewing or downloading.
If enabled, Document Revisions can be distributed to any number of internal or external contacts, either physically or digitally. The responses and actions from these distributions are recorded for subsequent review.

A Master Document is a reference to the source document (SB, AD, TCDS, Ops Manual etc.)
We create a Master Document, which then allows for numerous Document Revisions to the Master Document

Workflow

Document masters can undergo multiple revisions. Each revision can be distributed to multiple users. The Distribution ID can then be utilized to acknowledge receipt and track the distribution.
